A Cinn-fully Sweet Time!

Stepping into Goody Two’s Toffee Shop evokes the magic of the childhood excitement I had when it was checkout time at the supermarket and choosing a candy bar was the hardest part of my Saturday.

Their Sign Beckons You inside...
On a delightful Saturday morning I set foot into the impeccably clean and cheery shop and was greeted by Stacey, part of the mother and daughter duo that co-own this foodie gem.
Against a bright lime backdrop I began my sampling of the confectionary heaven.

All the toffee is made from scratch in small batches from an old family recipe that thankfully was recovered and is still made in the old fashioned way.
Ingredients consist of foodie friendly items such as pure cane sugar, fresh creamery butter and no preservatives.
Each flavor is beautifully presented and displayed along side and a plate of generous samples.

SAMPLES!
I began with the traditional toffee. The mixture of rich chocolate and buttery toffee melted into a blissful haze of pure decadence.
How did I get by for so long with the supermarket checkout selection? Eager for another toffee induced haze I sampled the Margarita Toffee. Made with “Cruz” Tequila a local, Scottsdale owned business, this toffee was not only beautiful to look at, but I exclaimed, “Wow!!,” out loud!
My favorite toffee of this visit was the Cinnfully Hazelicious Toffee. I was pretty giddy by the time I reached this plate, not so much from the sugar, but rather from excitement and having previously sampled the Sweet and Salty and Double Crossed toffee. This toffee is crafted with Saigon Cinnamon, Hazelnut Liqueur, creamy dark and milk chocolate, covered in chopped hazelnuts! The cinnamon danced on my palate and I smiled from the sheer sweetness.

Crisp, white packaging with a delicious surprise inside!
As if there was anything Goody Two’s could not perfect, I sampled the peanut brittle made with Spanish Peanuts. It was delightfully crunchy and buttery.

Peanut Brittle From Heaven
The peppermint bark I tried next put me quickly into holiday mode. The festive dusting of peppermint candy sparkles against the white chocolate snow.
The Goody Two’s Toffee Company logo is a Victorian style profile silhouette of the mother and daughter duo with a halo above them and it best sums up their toffee, old fashioned decadence with a heavenly touch.
Goody Two’s Toffee Company is located at 10953 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd #105 in Scottsdale. It is open Monday thru Saturday 11 am-6 pm.
